I recently had a significant event regarding a dog bite with injuries with a neighbor. I engaged Brandon Hornsby at the Hornsby Law Group on the matter after several unsuccessful attempts to reach an agreeable settlement with a neighbor. After two months, it was clear the negotiations were going nowhere and the neighbor began making significantly more unrealistic demands. As soon as I engaged Hornsby, things changed overnight. The neighbor become much more responsive and we were able to reach a mutually agreeable settlement within days. For anyone who has been involved in litigation, putting the matter rest was a huge relief to me and my family. I should note that I have known Brandon Hornsby for decades and am very familiar with is team’s ability to take serious cases to court and win large verdicts, is second to none. Previously, he represented my father in law who was hit by a car in downtown Atlanta. In this case, he won a large settlement for him which provide him with the financial relief he needed for his injuries. During the legal process, Brandon and his firm provided excellent communication and responsiveness to my father in law as well as his family. We were extremely pleased with the final outcome. Overall, the firm has exceptional legal skills as well as decades of trial experience. Brandon is a former prosecutor with hundreds of trials under his belt. Hornsby Law Group is a smaller firm but their legal expertise and trial experience allows them to handle the most serious personal injury cases. Hornsby Law Group is an amazing Atlanta wrongful death law firm. Here are two things I think make them great. First, they’re caring, kind, respectful, and human-focused. They treat people like family! Second, they provide their clients with excellent communication and responsiveness. For example, I just got off the phone with Brandon and he was able to keep things simple and help me quickly. Having the ability to reach an attorney( and not an assistant) when you have a serious case is huge. I contacted Hornsby Law Group regarding a Georgia Open Records Act matter involving a complicated factual and procedural record. Although the firm ultimately declined to take the case on the fee structure I was seeking, Brandon Hornsby took the time to actually read what I sent, respond thoughtfully, and explain the firm’s position in a clear and professional way. What stood out most was that he did not ignore the substance of the issue or send a generic brush-off. He gave a candid explanation of how his firm handles these cases, why contingency arrangements are uncommon in this area, and what other avenues might still be available. Even though the answer was not the one I wanted, I respected the honesty and the fact that he treated the matter seriously.
